- Our cottages rent from Sunday to Sunday for full weeks only
between Memorial Day and Labor Day, though we may allow shorter stays to
fill last-minute vacancies within three weeks of the dates in question.
During the rest of the year, we require a two-night minimum stay.
- Azalea cottage has a maximum capacity of six guests.
Dogwood can house ten. Laurel can hold four.
Sorry, but we cannot accommodate pets.

- Optional Linen Service provides two sets of towels per guest and
one set of sheets per bed. Simplify your packing and
arrive to find your beds already made!
The one-time charge is $10 per guest.
Your entire party must accept or decline this service.
- We must add 10-3/4% combined sales and rooms tax to your total.
- We accept major credit cards, personal and traveler's checks,
and cash.
- Visiting with Children ~ High Top Mountain has been a
favorite summer vacation spot for many children over the years, and
we welcome even the tiniest guests. As you make your
plans, however, please consider the extra supervision
your children may require here. In addition to all of the expected
hazards of the country such as bees and poison ivy, take
special note of the fact that there is some distance between the
cabins and the pool, and there is no lifeguard on duty.
- Reservation Deposit ~ We require $250 to hold Dogwood or Azalea and
$150 to hold Laurel for each "high season" week or less. We refund 100% if you
cancel at least 8 weeks (56 days) before your arrival date. Otherwise you forfeit
at least 44%, but we refund 1% for each day of notice you give us. For
"low season" reservations,
the deposits are $100 and $60, the deadline is 2 weeks (14 days) or you forfeit 44%,
and we refund 4% for each day of notice.
- Reserve early, particularly for July, August, and October.
We take reservations up to 13 months in advance.
- Check-in is anytime after 3:00 p.m. on your arrival date.
Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. on your departure day. Please observe these
times to give our cleaners time to do a good job.
